Trustee update
At the January 19 Board of Trustees meeting we elected officers for 2005. They are: Gerald Cotter, President; Johnna Reinwald, Vice-president; John Thomas, Secretary; and Dan Attanasio, Treasurer.
We arranged the following areas of responsibility:

United Methodist Trustees are required to…
1) supervise and care for
all property and equipment owned by the local church.
2) review and provide adequate insurance on church-owned property, liability and
equipment.
3) give permission for outside organizations to use our buildings.
4) review and ensure proper maintenance of the parsonage.
5) receive and administer all bequests and trusts made to the local church.
6) conduct an annual accessibility audit of our buildings.
#5 is the reason the
Trustees receive and administer a share of the Alice Raymond Trust from the bank
holding the trust. At the May meeting it was agreed to use the most recent check
to pay church apportionments.
The Board, however, is concerned that, with the church using rental income to
support Current Expenses, the Alice Raymond payments and ROCK Fund repayments
are their only income to use for maintaining our four buildings.
