Sunday School began quietly
Three teachers and nine students arrived on September 17, BUT we know many families were out of town including the S. S. superintendents.
There are classes from children age 3 to adults, so plan to come at nine Sunday mornings.
Grades Pre-K to Six are working with a new Cokesbury curriculum called Power Express. The fall theme is “Self-Esteem”. They will be exploring Bible stories through art, music, games, cooking, story telling and science to learn that God thinks we are wonderful and that we can celebrate ourselves.
Grades 7 to 12 meet in the High School Room (201 of the Kathy Fell Building) to work on the mural and learn together.
Adults are studying “The Book of John” by Gonzales with the help of teacher Dean Parent in Room 101.
