This lively group will meet at 1:15 on October 8 at the church for carpooling to Lyman Orchards in Middlefield. There one may traverse the Scarecrow Corn Maze, enjoy cider and kettle corn, buy delicious apples, produce and baked goods. The event will cost $9 each and promises to be lots of fun.
On Friday, October 13, we will again bowl at Saybrook Bowl. Please meet at the church at 7:15. We have three alleys for two hours. We had such fun in September that all wanted to bowl again.
October 27 will be a Halloween Party at the United Methodist Church of Clinton. Costumes are optional, however there will be a prize for the most original. It promises to be a evening of fun including games and refreshments starting at 7:30.
On Friday, November 10, we will be taught a new dance by the lovely Ms. Vera. The fun starts at 7:30. Come on out and see why everyone can learn how to dance. It doesn't just happen on Dancing with the Stars!
At 7:30 on Friday, November 24 (the day after Thanksgiving) we will host a potluck supper. Everyone is asked to bring an item of food to share with the entire group. The food item can be a salad, vegetable, casserole, meat or dessert.
We will not meet Friday, December 8
Sunday, December 10 we will meet at the United Methodist Church of Clinton at 1pm and car pool to the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford. Adult tickets are $12.00, seniors $11.00.
We will meet again at 7:30 on December 22 at the Methodist Church of Clinton for Christmas caroling followed by cookies and hot chocolate.
There are no membership dues, but dollars are welcome to cover the cost of mailings.
