Holly Fair

If two people are co-chairs, what happens when three take the job?
We have a fantastic Holly Fair on November 18, 2006 that's what!
If you wish to make items to sell, want to work in a certain area
or have a good idea to share, please talk to—
Jackie Blomberg, Laurie Bell or Karin Thelin.
Only seven weeks remain until our Holly Fair and the Holly Crafters are working hard at home and each Tuesday evening at church. Many other people are preparing things for the various areas such as the Country Store, handiwork and crafts.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested after the church service on October 15 to plan the set up of the fair and who will work where, etc. Meanwhile come Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 and teach or learn a craft. Karin Thelin will be showing us how to make some of the Swedish ornaments she saw on this summer’s trip. On October 10 there will be another jewelry session. Priscilla Valvano will lead us in making cinnamon ornaments on Monday, October 16 and if this interests you, please bring cookie cutters and rolling pins.
The church office already is receiving calls asking when the fair is (they don’t want to miss it) and if they can have selling space (not unless they are church members). By creating our own wares or only permitting “in-house” vendors, our fair is unique and many customers appreciate this.
